Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Lead Shipping and Receiving Specialist to support the Materials Management & Transportation team based out of Coppell, TX.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in warehouse and/or logistics operations
  • Experience working with a computer based inventory management system or warehouse management system
  • Experience working with warehouse equipment (including educational and operational training)

TYPICAL EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

SUMMARY PAY RANGE: 62,050 - 83,950

Basic Qualifications/Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience handling chemicals and/or hazardous materials
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience with SA

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees resolution of incoming/outgoing shipment discrepancies.
  • Escalates critical issues to the appropriate level and engages with the correct stakeholders.
  • Leads coordination and confirmation of receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers.
  • Serves as point of contact for priority incoming/outgoing shipments.
  • Monitors shipping/receiving discrepancies.
  • Develops solutions to mitigate errors.
    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
