EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree in a related field preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills. Military Service/Training in lieu of a degree may also be considered.
EXPERIENCE
3+ years of progressive, proven experience required
GxP Experience and IATA/DOT certification are also a plus.

- Possesses strong analytical abilities to problem solve, make timely decisions, re-balance staff workloads, and coordinate multiple overlapping priorities, while functioning in a fast-paced work environment
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requires the ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; lift 50 pounds occasionally, including operation and use of pushcarts, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.
Regularly required to stand or walk for prolonged periods.
Work areas may include spaces where chemical-based allergens are in use (penicillin, tetracycline, etc.). Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be required.
Ability to work overtime, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate execution of Lab Management processes at the direction of the assigned science management stakeholder(s).
- Identify labs daily priorities and communicate cross functionally with ULS/Vertex teams for execution.
- Attend science meetings to understand workflow, timing of needs, and experimental plans against material availability.
- Manage specialty consumable stocking areas onsite and offsite.
- Manage physical stocking requirements and areas for non-standard consumables.
- Execute special order entry and supplier management of external vendors on behalf of science stakeholder group.
- Manage ordering to provide updates and resolutions on backorder tracking reports, supply availability and delivery schedule.
- Facilitate lab requests for both media preparation & commercially procured media, Chemical Management, Glass wash/Autoclave, Lab Stock Consumables.
- Facilitate update of support needs for Lab Instrumentation.
- Coordinate Lab Asset onboarding including physical inventory tagging as well as relocation/decommissioning.
- Serve as point of contact for EHSS to review and promote safe practices and coordinate proper daily collection of bio-waste.
- Control inventory of reagents and flammable volume to ensure compliance with EHSS defined limits.
- Manage PPE to always ensure availability, partner with Lab Services to manage lab coat vendor.
- Create outbound shipping requests and coordinate with shipping on incoming shipments for lab.
