EDUCATION:
- Minimum High school diploma or Equivalent (GED).
- Preference given to candidates with bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Willing to work overtime as needed and participate in planned Manufacturing shutdown activities w/ overtime.
- Preferred Language is English.
- Must be able to lift up to 50Lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Technical certification in a mechanical and/or electrical trade.
- Prior experience repairing HVAC/refrigeration systems preferred.
- Will be required to obtain a plant specific, special boiler operator’s license in the future.
EXPERIENCE IN ONE OR MORE OF THE FOLLOWING AREAS DESIRED:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
Responsibilities:
- Works with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Completes emergency repairs as needed.
- Completes preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits required by regulatory agencies.
- Utilizes Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager to document on-demand and planned maintenance in a validated maintenance system.
- Orders and maintains inventory of spare parts, consumables.
- Monitors Facilities equipment daily via BMS, troubleshooting problems.
- Coordinates the services of outside vendors when necessary.
- Identifies existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.
- Assists in developing and maintaining required documentation including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to Company procedures and the requirements of external parties.
- Documents daily facilities equipment operation and maintenance activities. Performs plant rounds and records readings on various systems.
- A detailed working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; proficiency in more than one trade.
- Proven communications, customer service and technical skills
