Job Description

• Defining and further developing the system architecture will be your main responsibility, using standard notations such as UML, BPMN, or OpenAPI
• You will work closely with UI/UX designers, architects, product owners, and product managers, to shape the technological vision and product roadmap of the company
• Leveraging your expertise, you will identify technological trends early and drive the implementation of innovative architectures and solutions, especially in cloud and microservices
• You will also validate technological assumptions and evaluate various implementation options to ensure optimal solutions
• Leading innovative approaches for the ongoing development of the PSI Logistics Suite will be done of your key task, as you actively contribute your expertise
• In your role, you will take on strategic leadership responsibilities, collaborating with senior management and other stakeholders to influence key technicals decisions
• With a hands-on mentality, you will support the team in the practical implementation of the architecture, actively bringing your experience into the projects
• Lastly, as a mentor, you will promote knowledge sharing within the company and guide the professional development of your colleagues

Requirements

• You have at least 8 years of experience in software architecture and development, ideally in a leadership role
• Extensive knowledge of distributed systems, data models, and cloud environments is your hallmark, preferably in the logistics field
• Your expertise in cloud technologies such as Apache Kafka, Quarkus, Kubernetes, or Google Cloud Services will be highly valued
• Ideally, you bring experience with data platforms and cloud infrastructures, such as IaaS and PaaS via Terraform
• You are excellent in defining and implementing microservices within a DevOps environment
• The migration from monolithic to native cloud architectures is a familiar territory for you
• Experience in artificial intelligence and expertise in handling complex projects will be a significant advantage
• Fluency in both German and English is essential, and you should be willing to travel when necessary
