Description:

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Advanced degree such as a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is a plus
  • Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
  • Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 12 years’ experience in software development, with a focus on:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining .NET-based applications, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Implementing RESTful APIs endpoints to enable seamless integration between different systems and services
  • Utilizing Azure services and platforms to build cloud-native applications, ensuring scalability, availability, and security
  • Designing and optimizing database schemas, writing efficient SQL queries, and implementing database-related functionalities
  • Proven leadership experience in guiding large-scale projects from conception to delivery.
  • Deep expertise in software architecture, cloud computing, and distributed systems.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience interfacing with senior stakeholders.
  • Track record of driving innovation and delivering transformative technical solutions.

  • Provide strategic technical direction for projects, aligning with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
  • Architect highly scalable and extensible solutions, leveraging emerging technologies and architectural patterns.
  • Lead the technical team in the development of complex systems, providing hands-on guidance and mentoring as needed.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives, championing new technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous standards for system maintenance, security, and performance optimization.
  • Act as a technical evangelist within the organization, promoting a culture of excellence and knowledge sharing.
