Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our engineering teams working initially on our Credit Card solution. You will be a key member in our agile engineering teams, working with both supplier and in-house resource building on a platform already established in Poland, which forms a key part of our growth strategy, expanding the Credit Card offering into our other European markets.

About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity to work for us as a Lead Software Engineer based in our UK Head Office on Whitehall Road, Leeds which is a short walk from Leeds Train Station. The office has been designed as a collaborative space supporting hybrid working.
You will act as a subject matter expert in software engineering. You will lead the design implementation and re-engineering of business-critical software systems using appropriate techniques, principles and patterns and to contribute to the delivery of the Group IT Strategy.
You will lead a SCRUM development team, or teams, of software professionals whose role it is to design, develop and test software to deliver and enhance the functionality of IPF’s in house developed Credit Card solution, a key product in IPF’s financial portfolio.
This is a great opportunity to gain experience of commercial applications development with the Group IT Department of in a global financial services organisation. Our tech stack consists of .NET microservices, .NET Web Api’s, React and cloud native AWS infrastructure, all built and deployed using fully automated pipelines in Azure DevOps.
