Responsibilities:
As a Lead Software Engineer - Visualization, you will be responsible for:
- Defining technology stack for state-of-the-art software visualization products within a cloud-based platform.
- Driving concept design evaluation of solution alternatives.
- Designing, implementing, and testing software visualization products.
- Supporting, enhancing and re-factor existing software visualization products.
- Participating in technical reviews and driving adherence to internal product development and related processes.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Software Product team for MFL and EMAT analysis software and Data Science teams to define multi-generation-technology plans collaboratively.
- Proposing and leading continuous improvement and quality initiatives as well as innovative approaches and solutions to business problems.
- Engaging with internal & external stakeholders, including customers and industry groups, on ILI technology and product development.
- Coaching and provide guidance to team members to gain competencies required by tech stack defined
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a degree qualified in Software Engineering, Mathematics or other relevant engineering discipline related to Software Engineering.
- Have product development team leadership experience & a track record of delivery of new product development projects.
- Have strong skills used in Visualization context, including working with 3D visualization of signal/image data, ideally in web applications.
- Have solid software development experience in a production environment across the full software lifecycle.
- Have strong communication skills, with experience presenting to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong technical comprehension and an ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Experienced in influencing and gaining solutions to meet project objectives.
- Have the right to work in the UK as no sponsorship will be provided
