Looking for an exciting opportunity as a Lead Software Quality Engineer?
Join our Hue R&D development team and work on one of the largest commercial IoT systems in the world! We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Software Quality Engineer to provide our customers with the latest features and capabilities, while maintaining the stability and high performance they expect. We are looking for someone who can work with the latest techniques and practices in the world of networked devices, cloud infrastructure and agile software development.
As a Lead Software Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and releasing functionality for the services in the IoT team. You have strong experience in test(ing) methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, ensuring that these can be executed automatically, debugging cloud services. You also have experience working in various cloud environments and Google Cloud Platform in particular. You have a natural drive to work in a data-driven way and to make decisions accordingly. You have working experience with agile software development practices.
WHAT YOU NEED
We are looking for someone with a passion for home automation. Candidates with one or more of the following skills have preference:
- You have strong experience in test(ing) methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, ensuring that these can be executed automatically, debugging cloud services.
- Strong SW design skills and ability to create simple, robust, and elegant SW systems.
- Background in computer science, software engineering, mathematics or similar
- You’ve at least 7-10y of work experience in relevant field
- Experience with connectivity, networking, and IoT.
- Knowledge and experience in network security.
- Knowledge and experience in data-driven product development.
- Deep knowledge and experience with C#, Python, Go and Bash
- Willingness to explore new development environments, languages, and platforms.
- Good knowledge of English both written and verbal, excellent communication skills.
- The ambition to work with highly intelligent peers and business leaders in a vibrant, collaborative environment while developing the skills required to excel.
- Team player, pro-active attitude.
