Lead Supplier Quality Engineer

CORE FOCUS AREAS:

• Supplier Quality:
• Conduct supplier quality audits.
• Manage improvement plans and ensure suppliers meet required standards.
• Experience with ISO9001 or AS9100 is preferred.
• Manage FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) both with suppliers and internally.
• Special Processes or Manufacturing Processes
• Inspect and oversee special processes including coating, non-destructive testing (NDT), and painting.
• Focus on special manufacturing processes within safety critical environments

PURPOSE OF THE LEAD SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER:

• The role will be primarily focused on ensuring quality within the Dreadnought project, with a strong emphasis on supplier quality, supply chain management, and internal quality assurance.

AS A LEAD SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing Several Switchboards: Efficiently oversee and coordinate multiple switchboards.
• Planning: Develop and execute quality plans aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Engaging Key Stakeholders: Maintain effective communication and collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other Quality Leads to uphold and improve quality standards.
