  • Knowledge of quality tools and statistics analysis in ISO9001 QMS requirements and applications preferably in Oil&Gas/Energy Industry/Automotive/Aerospace business
  • Proven experience in Engineering with an Electronics/Machining/Fabrication background
  • Lead Auditor qualified through a recognized accreditation body
  • Fluent language skills in German and English

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Reporting of the Baker Hughes Industrial Solutions, Waygate Technologies, IXS Sub Business Unit.
  • Providing technical guidance to suppliers to ensure product/process compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, Waygate IXS quality requirements and customer flow down requirements.
  • Providing Quality Engineering expertise and leadership to the supplier qualification process and the continuous improvement programs via through the implementation of procedures, issue analysis of issues, the planning and execution of surveillance audits, and a rigorous management of action plans.
  • Participating within MRB (Material Review Board) meetings.
  • Reporting key KPI data such as supplier non conformities, costs of quality, corrective and preventive actions closure, root cause analysis, supplier audits and relevant findings and supplier deviation requests.
  • Executing supplier quality activities including issues resolution (SCAR), supplier qualifications (incl. use of ESQM tool), process control and quality assurance of purchased materials.
  • Monitoring and drive for Cost of Quality (COQ) reduction for supplier related defects.
  • Driving CoQ recovery from suppliers.
  • The Lead SQE has excellent knowledge of Company tools and supports further migration into scorecard and dashboard kind of quality reporting.
  • Work collaboratively with the Waygate/Inspection and Industrial Flow supplier quality teams and coordinate actions with the Waygate site quality teams
