Description:

We are looking for a Lead System Architect, Product Security who will contribute to our purpose of Bringing People Closer at GN Hearing, a part of GN.
You will get the opportunity to be part of establishing a Center of Excellence in this area together with colleagues across the R&D organisation. Your expertise will be pivotal in safeguarding our products and ensuring the highest standards of security.
The team you will be part of
Become part of our forward-thinking team and engage with the latest technology to safeguard sophisticated digital hearing devices. We are a team of 20 creative System Architects and System Engineers who work across all our development teams in R&D.
This function is located within the Research and Technology team in Global R&D. You will become part of a diverse team of experts, counting seven different nationalities with team members in both Ballerup, DK, Chicago, US and Eindhoven, NL.
You will step into an environment where initiative and results are both valued and demanded. You will report to Director, Helga Björk Magnúsdóttir, your daily work will be with your colleagues in the team and stakeholders.
Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

Design, communicate, and update the cyber security architecture for our product platforms.

  • Be active in threat modelling, risk assessment, and risk mitigation in the early design phase
  • Keep the team informed on long-term security developments within embedded- and software systems.
  • Guide security architecture efforts and ensure adherence to cyber security in compliance with international standards and regulations
  • Mentor and train team members on best practices in cyber security
  • Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technology to continuously improve the security posture of the organization.
  • Participate in creating and maintaining security procedures
  • Participate in regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you

  • Have a degree within cyber security, computer science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the field of cyber security, ideally with experience in embedded systems and software security.
  • Hands-on experience in developing security solutions for both hardware and software.
  • Have experiences with working with regulatory requirements within medical devices.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work across disciplines.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
