Working Pattern: Employee Fixed Term Contract / Full Time
As the Lead Engineer, you will:
- Be a citizen of Azerbaijan
- Generate, check, and approve of Deliverables, Safety Screening, Terms of Reference, Safety close-out reports, Action Tracking, and close-out.
- Supervise project management of activities undertaken by 3rd party Consultants (e.g. Phast Modelling, CFD) Advantageous
- Have experience in writing and checking system Scopes of work for 3rd party specialist vendors Provide technical safety and risk management support & advice to operational and project personnel
- Support incident investigations for process safety related events
- Have proven capability in an engineering design company / EPCC support role experience Be technically competent in own discipline and actively maintains own competence according to standards and pursues continuous professional development.
- Provide value adding knowledge to constructability reviews and take consideration of layout restrictions, ergonomics, safety, utilities, and maintainability.
- Check and approve of and generate calculations against design code and best practice.
- Have experience in mentoring junior and graduate engineers Have good experience in supporting business development for new bids (Understanding scope, preparing deliverables and process activities and CTR preparation and process narratives)
- Have excellent experience in Managing Team delivery, assigning work, monitoring progress, inputting weekly timely progress to planning tools and attending planning and resource meetings to ensure team resource and delivery progress aspects are maintained
QUALIFICATIONS
- BSc or equivalent in relevant Engineering Discipline
- Chartered Engineer status preferred
- Significant, demonstrable experience in Detailed Design Engineering and Engineering Checking
- Detailed understanding of all Engineering disciplines
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant Oil & Gas Industry Codes and Standards
- Understand the application of Autodesk Design products
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications
- Survival BOSIET/FOET is advantageous
