- Key Responsibilities
- Manage the requisitioning, ordering, and inventory of materials required for the development of radiopharmaceuticals.
- Ensure timely procurement to meet production needs while maintaining optimal inventory levels and preventing stockouts.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy and alignment with demand.
- Implement best practices for inventory management, ensuring efficient stock rotation and minimizing material waste.
- Track incoming materials to ensure timely delivery. Address and resolve any delays or discrepancies in transit, collaborating with suppliers to mitigate disruptions.
- Ensure all shipping documentation (e.g., packing lists, certificates of analysis) is complete and maintained for traceability.
- Verify that received materials match purchase orders and meet quality specifications.
- Organize and maintain materials storage areas in compliance with cGMP and safety standards, ensuring proper segregation and handling.
- Participate in routine cleaning and maintenance activities of storage area to meet cGMP and document all actions for compliance.
- Assist in creating and refining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for materials handling, shipping, and inventory control to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Education and Experience
- BS/BA Business, management, purchasing, or science
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment or similar field of work.
- Materials management experience working in a GMP environment such as pharmaceuticals or medical devices is highly desired.
- Experience working with SAP is considered an asset.
