Responsibilities :

  • Lead UI developer within the GS SDLC Engineering team to work with backend-engineers to design and implement user friendly web UIs
  • Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
  • Experience with building CICD pipelines to build, test and deploy UIs using container deployments
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and ensure we’re building user friendly UIs
  • Expertise with testing UI applications with test frameworks like Cypress
  • Expertise with diagnosing and performance tuning UI applications with tools like Lighthouse
  • Experience with modern authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)), REST API design
  • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
  • Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
  • Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvementLead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in industry with a specific interest/specialty in web UI development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Staying up-to-date on emerging UI technologies.
