Responsibilities :
- Lead UI developer within the GS SDLC Engineering team to work with backend-engineers to design and implement user friendly web UIs
- Experience with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
- Experience with building CICD pipelines to build, test and deploy UIs using container deployments
- Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and ensure we’re building user friendly UIs
- Expertise with testing UI applications with test frameworks like Cypress
- Expertise with diagnosing and performance tuning UI applications with tools like Lighthouse
- Experience with modern authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC)), REST API design
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to ensure software solutions meet requirements and are delivered on time
- Mentor and coach junior team members to promote growth and learning
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices and coding standards
Research and evaluate new technologies and software solutions to drive innovation and continuous improvementLead and contribute to software architecture and design decisions
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of experience in industry with a specific interest/specialty in web UI development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Staying up-to-date on emerging UI technologies.
