Our clinic specializes in the care of small animals, with a touch of exotic pets such as birds and lizards. With a loyal client base and a reputation for quality care, we are a stable and welcoming practice seeking an experienced veterinarian with aspirations for greater responsibility that are rewarded and recognised.
We have a strong, established client base and do not require additional advertising to attract clients. The practice is highly spacious and well-equipped to provide comprehensive care including two large consulting rooms, a separate surgery, a sterilisation room, a large treatment area, and a hydro bath.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

As the Lead Vet (along with the support of the practice manager), you will lead one other passionate vet and a team of motivated vet nurses delivering personalised, professional and dedicated care to our patients and their owners.
Our clinic operates with reasonable hours: Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays from 8 AM to 12:30 PM. Saturdays will be a shared roster. There are no after-hours requirements, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver comprehensive veterinary care to small animals and some exotic pets
  • Oversee the clinic’s daily operations, maintaining high standards of veterinary care
  • Exercise flexible and independent decision-making in clinical and operational matters
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with our lovely clientele
