Interior Health has an exciting opportunity for a Lead, Clinical Research to join their team. The leader ensures all staff have orientation to new clinical trials, new health Canada guidelines, manages changes to standard operation procedures related to clinical trials, negotiates and manages the implementation of clinical trials contract agreements. We are looking for people who want to make a difference in the communities in which they live, work and play. Salary range for the position is $88,990 to $127,923. Interior Health establishes salaries within the minimum and maximum of the salary range based on consideration of the qualifications, experience of the applicant, and an internal equity review of the salaries of other employees.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE
- A Bachelor’s degree in a health-related discipline, Masters preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Completion of GCP, TCPS2, Health Canada Divison 5 – Drugs for clinical trials involving human subjects.
- Five to seven years of experience in Clinical Research and data monitoring of Clinical Research studies, including experience in involving the supervision of staff, staff development, planning, project management, and reporting.
- Certification with the Association of Clinical Research Professionals or the Society of Clinical Research Associates is an asset.
