Description:

Childrens Outpatients at Queens medical Centre covers 2 departments in Clinic East and south.
We see over 500 Children a week supporting multiple specialities with the clinical needs of our paediatric patients.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Childrens Outpatients manager. The suitable candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the unit, ensuring clinics can operate on a daily basis, on time as planned Monday-Friday service. They will ensure the team have the correct skill mix to facilitate all of the clinical needs and support with appropriate management skills and empowering there team colleagues.
This is an exciting opportunity for both professional and personal development with both clinical and managerial duties.
Ensure the area is maintained to be clean and safe for all of our visitors to the department.
Safeguarding the children and Young people visiting our department and have a sound knowledge of safeguarding and the responsibility, relevant to their role.
Ensure all audits and performance reports are completed each month and support the department team roster.
They will work with Trust policies and adhered to Trust Values and Behaviours.
Be able to work individually as well as the bigger team.
Supportive to all colleagues in the team and role model behaviour.
Staffing management with completing sickness meetings, appraisals and regular 1 to 1s and team meetings to ensure the team have a voice and you can lead on supporting service improvement’s, with Matron input.
Ensure all daily checks are completed.
Tendable audits completed.
