We invite you to lead our dedicated team, tasked with devising and implementing a progressive governance framework across our Personal Customers, Business Customers, and Large Corporates & Institutions segments. As the Leader of Governance, you’ll have the chance to expand your network within the Danske Bank Group and lead a team crucial in reinforcing a responsible risk & product governance framework.
At Danske Bank, the Governance Department is vital in ensuring compliance and strategic oversight across diverse business units and countries. We perform as the secretariat for the Business Units and Nordic Country All Risk Committees, and manage the Product Decision Desks and Product Committees. Your role will involve enhancing the efficiency, organization, and transparency of critical decision-making in risk and product management. Our team, part of the Business Control & Product Management (BCPM) function, acts as the principal risk entity for our segments, striving to safeguard products, processes, systems, data, and services, thereby delivering value to our customers and society.

WHO ARE YOU?
We are seeking a leader with a blend of experience, strategic insight, and a knack for new technologies in governance.
- Experience and Expertise: At least 3 years in banking with a great understanding of governance principles.
- Communication and Collaboration: Solid stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead and engage diverse teams effectively.
- Adaptability and Leadership: Ability to lead by example, including hands-on tasks such as facilitating meetings and drafting minutes in peak periods.
- Technological Savviness: Openness to exploring new technologies to enhance operational efficiencies.
An academic background is beneficial, and fluency in a Scandinavian language, along with advanced English skills, is required.
