Description:
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.
At any one time, around 23,000 people in Norfolk and Suffolk are receiving care and attention from the Trust. OUR EDUCATION, TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT BASED IN NORWICH IS LOOKING FOR A LEADERSHIP &STAFF DEVELOPMENT CO-ORDINATOR TO JOIN THEIR GROWING TEAM!
We’re looking for someone who is motivated, organised and is happy to work collaboratively as part of a team.
This will be a varied and sometimes demanding role, so building an effective rapport with colleagues and being ready to take their guidance and offer your support will be really important.
The Education & Development Department is a key service within the Trust; we support new and existing staff with all of their Statutory and Mandatory, educational and career needs such as providing training courses and identifying apprenticeship opportunities.

Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
To participate in ongoing service development as directed by the Leadership and Staff Development/Statutory and Mandatory Lead(s)
Contribute to effective communication by liaising with internal and external parties and agencies, including staff, managers, service users and other stakeholders.
Deal with general enquiries and maintain an efficient message system co-ordinating with team members.
Provide non-clinical information to internal and external customers, maintaining high standards of verbal and written communication.
To liaise in a professional manner with each member of the team, providing relevant information.
Ensure confidential information is managed, retained, and stored in line with Trust policy in an efficient and effective manner.
Using set procedures to undertake administrative functions around legislative procedures.
To attend and contribute to all internal/external meetings relevant to the post.
To provide data as requested by Lead(s)
To participate in ongoing service development as directed by the Lead (s)
To liaise with IT department as delegated by line manager regarding problems/faults with electronic equipment etc.
To encourage staff to operate a flexible approach to work, be adaptable to change and able to work within a team across the Department.
To undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested by the Leadership & Staff Development/Statutory and Mandatory Lead(s) to meet the needs of the service.

To attend and contribute to all internal/external meetings relevant to the post.

To be a requisitioner on the Trust’s eProcurement system to book training courses and associated expenses.
To order stores as requested
To liaise with works departments as delegated by line manager regarding buildings and general maintenance.
To liaise with IT department as delegated by line manager regarding problems/faults with electronic equipment etc.
To encourage staff to operate a flexible approach to work, be adaptable to change and able to work within a team across the Department.
To undertake any other appropriate tasks as requested by the Leadership & Staff Development/Statutory and Mandatory Lead(s) to meet the needs of the service.
