On top of that, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, construction management, or a related field (asset, not required)
  • A minimum of 15 years of document management experience in the AEC industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior or leadership role
  • Expertise in the various electronic document management systems (EDMS), with a proven history of effectivel implementation, optimization, and support
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentorship abilities, with experience training and guiding staff in document management practices
  • Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of organizational capability
  • Flexibility and a collaborative approach to changing project environments

Responsibilities:

  • Lead best practice document control management processes, setting standards for quality, security, and project consistency
  • Drive process improvements within document control, implementing effective solutions and enhancing workflows
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Document Management and the use of appropriate EDMS tools, providing training and mentoring document control staff across the North American region
  • Collaborate closely with project management and key stakeholders to integrate document control within broader project management systems
  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including correspondence, site instructions, change orders, and other project records
  • Support the document retrieval for the preparation of Changes/Claims towards/from client entities
