Description:

OBJECTIVE

Works with leadership teams to implement and train lean core tools and identify drives cost reduction opportunities within the plant; including working with the implementation of new programs.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachellor Degree: Industrial Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Other Engineering in productivity environment
  • Advanced English
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing as VSM, Kaizen events, 5S’s, TPM, SMED, Standard work, Develop A3, Material flow.

Responsibilities:

  • Promotes the use of root cause problem solving, ensuring problems are identified, eliminated and results standardized using lean core tools.
  • Performs plant assessments on current to future state for Lean/Six Sigma and action plans to close gaps using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean core tools.
  • Tracks and maintains the plan improvement action items and create action plans to complete the open items to improve the performance visibility for leadership teams in metrics.
  • Prepares lean core tool implementations and continuous improvement actions and monitors continued practice and updates the training or actions as needed to meet company goals.
  • Drives plant in developing deployment strategy and establishing systems to maintain success.
