Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Participate on improvements leveraging the A3 & RCCM process
- Contribute or lead cross-functional multi-level projects and kaizen events
- Build a continuous improvement culture by coaching and involving employees in Lean methodologies
- Be a change agent and drive out waste throughout the operation using lean methodologies
- Assist with the development and implementation of current and future state VSM and continuous improvement plans
- Cooperate in the execution of the site’s transformation plans and cost reduction funnel.
- Support to educate improvement teams in lean transformation philosophy, problem solving methodologies and appropriate transformation tools. Standardize work across distribution centers
- Help to identify the right sponsorship to drive improvement activity
- Engage on a One nVent culture ensuring values are being deployed
- Be highly approachable to associates and create an environment for participation
- Manage, update and propose plant layouts to improve production and materials flow
- Responsibilities included but are not limit for balance product process, standard work sheet and playbooks
- Coordinate 5’s, share best practices & participate in audits
- Design workstations looking after ergonomics and similar topics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
- Ideally 2+ years of experience in Lean manufacturing, continues improvement or Industrial engineering activities
- Proven understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts
- Strong project management and project leadership experience
- Knowledgeable and skilled on implementing, teaching and deploying Lean Methodologies in Manufacturing, Distribution and Transactional applications
- Demonstrated ability to utilize structured problem solving process to improve process customers’ experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite - Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English
- Skilled in full cycle process/project management & planning
- Good at building relationships and influencing others
- Experience in AutoCAD a plus.
