HE ANGITŪTANGA: THE OPPORTUNITY

Here at Auckland Council, our leisure centres play a key role in achieving our goal of getting Auckland to be the most active city in the world. And right now, we’re looking for part-time Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Pool and Leisure Centre teams across Auckland to help achieve that goal!
Based at Glenfield Pools and Leisure Centre, this is a fantastic job where you can gain a formal qualification teaching people the basic principles of how to swim, maintaining a fun, caring and safe environment for customers and visitors - we’ll provide the training you need to succeed in the role.
We would love to hear from those who can work at least 9 hours per week, eager to learn. All training is provided. Please note that you will need to work for at least one weekday morning shift AND one weekend shift. The shifts are below:
Weekday classes between 9:30am-1:30pm or 3:15pm-7pm;
Weekend classes between 8:30am-1pm or 3pm-6pm
