LEARN TO SWIM INSTRUCTOR | MOANA-NUI-A-KIWA POOL AND LEISURE CENTRE (MĀNGERE)

Here at Auckland Council, our leisure centres play a key role in achieving our goal of making Auckland the most active city in the world. And right now, we’re looking for Learn to Swim Instructors to join our Moana-Nui-A-Kiwa Pool and Leisure Centre team to help achieve that goal!
This is a fantastic job where you don’t need any formal qualifications or experience to apply – just a passion to work with our diverse community while also making a difference! We’ll provide the training you need to succeed in the role.

Day-to-day you could expect to work on:

• Teaching people the basic principles of how to swim (we’ll teach you how to do this!)
• Maintaining a fun, caring and safe environment for customers and visitors
• Being part of an amazing team serving your local community

We have a permanent part-time position available at our centre.
You will need to be available on weekdays from 3:15pm till 6:30pm and weekends from 8:45pm till 1:30pm.
You will likely be working at least 1 weekday and 1 weekend shift. Availability to work on the weekend is essential.
