POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Administrator position will join a team responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of all learning activities company-wide. They will also provide general support to the larger Human Resources team in addition to all banners of The Brick.
Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Utilize and maintain our LMS (Learning Management System) including user records, learning assignments, reporting and administrative functions
  • Create learning reports and track the progress and success of learning programs using Excel and Excel formulas
  • Administration of our third-party e-learning system(s)
  • Assist with writing company-wide communications including memos, announcements, emails, promotional materials, etc.
  • Proofread and edit content and materials provided by a wide variety of business units
  • Assist with the writing and creation of the company newsletter
  • Work with all areas of the business to create learning programs, learning modules and innovative content
  • Create surveys and compile data summaries
  • Design, develop and maintain learning materials and tools
  • Provide additional administrative support to the larger Human Resources and Corporate Office team
  • Long service awards reporting and administration
  • Assist in coordination of HR team events and other special events

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Previous administrative experience is an asset
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or a related field is an asset

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel formulas and functions
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality
  • Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Proficiency in business writing and proofreading
  • Professional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Customer service focused with the desire to deliver exceptional service in a timely manner
  • Bilingual in French and English is an asset
