POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development, the Learning and Development Administrator position will join a team responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of all learning activities company-wide. They will also provide general support to the larger Human Resources team in addition to all banners of The Brick.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include:
- Utilize and maintain our LMS (Learning Management System) including user records, learning assignments, reporting and administrative functions
- Create learning reports and track the progress and success of learning programs using Excel and Excel formulas
- Administration of our third-party e-learning system(s)
- Assist with writing company-wide communications including memos, announcements, emails, promotional materials, etc.
- Proofread and edit content and materials provided by a wide variety of business units
- Assist with the writing and creation of the company newsletter
- Work with all areas of the business to create learning programs, learning modules and innovative content
- Create surveys and compile data summaries
- Design, develop and maintain learning materials and tools
- Provide additional administrative support to the larger Human Resources and Corporate Office team
- Long service awards reporting and administration
- Assist in coordination of HR team events and other special events
Qualifications:
Education and Experience Required:
- Previous administrative experience is an asset
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in Human Resources or a related field is an asset
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel formulas and functions
- Demonstrated ability to maintain data integrity and confidentiality
- Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficiency in business writing and proofreading
- Professional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Customer service focused with the desire to deliver exceptional service in a timely manner
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset
