KNOWLEDGE FACILITATION

  • Ability to animate individuals and groups, internally and externally, and to design and facilitate activities, to share and exchange knowledge, information, and ideas.
  • Knowledge of tools and approaches to stimulate active participation, contribution and exchange

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Designing, developing and implementing learning solutions using adult learning methodologies, and using a variety of delivery methods to make them accessible to all.
  • Coordinating the development and delivery of various learning programmes.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation of learning programmes
  • Planning, organizing and facilitating virtual and in-person workshops and events.
  • Using video-editing tools.
  • Using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, MS Teams or similar software.

DESIRED SKILLS IN ADDITION TO THE COMPETENCIES COVERED IN THE COMPETENCIES SECTION

  • Working with volunteers to implement capacity development activities.
  • Knowledge of Moodle.
  • Working in a global context such as the United Nations or similar organizations.

PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATES

  • HR Certification is an asset.

Responsibilities:

The Learning Specialist reports to the Team Leader, Capacity Development and Learning, and works closely with the rest of the CDT and as a member of the Human Resources Section.
The Learning Analyst reports to the Learning Analyst (P2) and works closely with the rest of the CDT and as a member of the Human Resources Section. For specific projects, they may also report to the Team Leader, Capacity Development and Learning.
