POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a subject matter expert, manages Learning and Development programs, working closely with the Talent Development Director and Learning and Development Director, HR Relationship Managers, vendors, and internal clients to help design, implement, communicate, and deliver innovative programs including leadership development, soft-skill development, career development, and business skill learning. These programs support the development of high performing teams by optimizing talent to meet the evolving needs of the business, while maximizing the employee experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- University degree or equivalent experience in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or Psychology
- 5 - 7 years progressive experience in leadership and soft skill development
- 5 - 7 years progressive experience in program management with demonstrated success
- Advanced facilitation skills
- Exceptional written and presentation skills, with a focus on program strategy, frameworks, content, and promotion
- Advanced PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel
- Advanced skills in adult learning techniques
- Knowledge of conventional instructional design concepts, principles, methodologies, and technology-based delivery vehicles, as well as eLearning design and development
Other key accountabilities include:
- Partners with and motivates team members fostering a culture of feedback through clear and open communication.
- Manages external vendor relationships and contract renewals. Consults with Designated Governance Officer (DGO), Third Party Governance department, and HR Management to ensure quality, cost and time objectives are met
Responsibilities:
Learning and Development:
- Leverages subject matter expertise to support the design, implementation, and enhancement of new and existing Learning and Development (L&D) programs.
- Manages flagship learning and development programs; Core Skills Program, Leader Accelerator Program, and Senior Leaders Forum, to enhance employee and manager effectiveness and change capability.
- Supports the design and development of program learning strategies and frameworks.
- Manages program execution, designs and delivers program experience, assesses development needs, tracks learning effectiveness, and recommends proactive enhancements.
- Leverages exceptional planning and communication skills to design and implement program communication plans, in partnership with HR and internal clients.
- Guides and coordinates all aspects of learning and development sessions from managing calendar, facilities and technology, preparing handouts, lesson plans and job aids, maintaining training inventory.
- Leverages demonstrated facilitation skill and experience to facilitate learning and development sessions.
- Keeps abreast of industry trends and technologies and recommends enhancements where necessary to elevate and improve internal programs.
- Consults with internal clients and learning colleagues to conduct needs analysis to determine learning and development opportunities, and make recommendations based on available resources, and/or available internal and external technologies.
- Develops evaluation and assessment tools to measure impact and return on investment on learning and development initiatives.
- Leverages analytics to measure the impact of investments in learning and development to the overall talent and business strategy.
