Job Description
The role of the Group Learning and Development Manager is to work within our L&D team, providing proactive and professional direction and support to our operational teams. This role will utilise learning and development methods to deliver key learning solutions across Culina Group, applying best practice HR solutions that meet wider business needs. Reporting to the Head of L&D, this is a remote based role however we are looking for an individual who is able to travel to various sites across the UK to both build relationships with the operational teams and deliver key training.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week.(This is a 12 month fixed term contract)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience within a training delivery role or an operational environment at the front line.
  • PETTLS level 3 or equivalent training qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing and support a team.
  • Design of leadership programmes.
  • Experience of delivering management, leadership and personal development programmes.
  • Track record of achieving targets and KPI’s.
  • Experience of LMS/system roll out.
  • Knowledge of logistics and warehousing is desirable.
  • Experienced in reporting to senior management/board colleagues.
  • Designing multi-faceted learning programmes e.g webinars, face to face, e-learning etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of five L&D Advisors and one L&D Administrator to ensure they are well supported in their wellbeing and personal development including regular 121s.
  • The management and promotion of the mentor scheme
  • Accountability for the Groups PDP results plus other KPI’s
  • Responsible for ensuring the L&D prospectus is fit for purpose and is regularly reviewed to align with the business needs. Developing products further to make them more interactive and engaging.
  • The delivery of Senior Leadership programme circa 50
  • Collaborating of senior management to create skills matrix
  • Management of the Investors in People process
  • Overseeing training calendars for the L&D Advisor team 5
  • The induction of all new L&D colleagues
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to design career development paths
  • Improve Employee Engagement
  • Designing a Training Strategy with the support of the HR tea
