Description:

Arden & GEM is one of the largest and most successful Commissioning Support Units in England and we are looking for an enthusiastic Learning and Development Officer to join our specialist Organisational Development Team within the HR service line.
You will work with other team members to develop and deliver learning interventions across the organisation, working with service lines to understand their training requirements, and deliver effective and timely training and development. This position will be paid on NHS Agenda for Change Band 5.
Working closely with the wider Human Resources and Organisational Development teams you work as part of a small team who support the delivery of organisational development and learning and development projects.
To provide administrative support for the effective delivery of the overall L&D strategy and People Plan.
To publicise the team’s future events and assist with the intranet presence of the team.
To work with others to develop and deliver specific workforce training and associated organisational development sessions.
Deliver a wide range of training interventions across the organisation and to customers as required.

As a key member of the Organisational Development and workforce planning team you will require the following skills and experience:
Educated to Degree level or equivalent experience, in a related field
CIPD part qualified with a willingness to complete Chartered MCIPD registration in the future
Experience of delivering education or training to small groups (face-to-face and online).
Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to develop and present training in PowerPoint and through MS team
