REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary education, (or relevant combination of education and experience) in Adult Education or Training and Development
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in Learning experience designs
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline (or other e-learning software) is an asset
  • Driven to take initiative, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a large, complex, and ever-changing organization.
  • Change Management Certification is an asset
  • Intermediate with Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications
  • Systems and Design thinking is an asset
  • Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • Driven to take initiative, coordinate multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a large, complex, and ever-changing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop corporate-wide learning initiatives based on core competencies, key strategies, and the unique Wonderbrands culture
  • Manage the life cycle of learning programs, including coordinating participants, logistics, supporting facilitators, and facilitating content where necessary
  • Effectively communicate relevant training information and updates to team members
  • Provide Talent & Learning advisory and thought leadership, supporting stakeholders in understanding new and innovative approaches to meet business performance needs
  • Define learning outcomes through consultation with subject matter experts for needs assessments, recommending a training approach, and identifying appropriate content that helps achieve performance learning outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve learning engagement and experience, monitor and research best practices, identify emerging trends, and make recommendations on new technology and approaches
  • Compile needs analysis, create, curate, and recommend digital, physical, and experiential learning experiences in various formats (e.g. instructor-led and e-learning, including micro-learning, mobile learning, gamification, whiteboard animations, flipbooks, interactive infographics, printable job aids, webinars, and interactive videos, etc.)
  • Conduct post-implementation evaluations to continually enhance course content, reinforce, and sustain the learned and desired skills/knowledge
  • Evaluate the business impact of learning experiences by documenting time spent, insights, lessons learned and recommending improved approaches, materials, software, and process improvements
  • Project manage all deliverables independently, maintaining information flow to internal clients through various communication channels to maintain project timelines, including approvals and revisions.
  • Develop and maintain a strong interpersonal network, as a culture champion of the T&D team.
