JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Learning Coordinator
Reports to: Phase Vice-Principal

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic educator to lead the coordination of teaching and learning activities, mentor educators, and ensure alignment with our innovative vision: “Inspire, Empower, Thrive.”

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in leadership roles within education, demonstrating effective mentoring and curriculum management.
• Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering inclusivity and learner well-being.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a Learning Coordinator, you will ensure the school’s vision is consistently reflected in all educational activities. This role involves mentoring mentors, conducting quality assurance, coordinating curriculum delivery, and aligning co-curricular activities with the curriculum. You will collaborate with senior leaders, inclusion teams, and parents to support learner development and contribute to the school’s culture of continuous improvement.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Vision Alignment and Mentoring: Drive the implementation of the school’s vision across all teaching and learning activities.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct lesson plan reviews, classroom observations, and learning walks to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
• Curriculum and Co-curricular Activities: Collaborate with event coordinators to organize curriculum-aligned activities and meaningful educational trips.
• Line Management: Support mentors through regular meetings, mentoring sessions, and professional development initiatives.
• Pastoral Care: Work closely with the wellbeing counselor and inclusion team to meet the emotional and social needs of learners.
• Safeguarding Leadership: Act as an Assistant Designated Safeguarding Lead (ADSL), ensuring all safeguarding policies and procedures are effectively implemented.
