WORKFORCE TRANSFORMATION - LEARNING DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT - SOLUTION SPECIALIST

The USDC leverages scale, talent, and a center delivery model to provide high quality, cost-effective service with standardized processes and procedures. Our US Delivery Centers have been growing since 2014 with significant, continued growth on the horizon.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Instructional Design or equivalent; or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years learning-related experience in consulting or industry
  • 1+ year of experience supporting learning advisory projects and teams
  • Demonstrated experience with common digital learning development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Adobe Captivate
  • Demonstrated training material design, development and delivery experience
  • Background in Adult Learning Principles, ADDIE methodology, and Authoring Tools (Captivate, Articulate, Camtasia, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively and conceptually
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities and to manage through ambiguity
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and follow through
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment, usually virtual
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must live in a commutable distance (approximately 100-mile radius) to one of the following Delivery locations: Atlanta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Dallas, TX; Gilbert, AZ; Houston, TX; Lake Mary, FL; Mechanicsburg, PA; Philadelphia, PA with the ability to commute to assigned location for the day, without the need for overnight accommodations
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. This may include overnight travel.
  • Expectation to co-locate in your designated Delivery location up to 30% of the time based on business needs. This may include a maximum of 10% overnight client/project travel.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain the required level of security clearance for this role

Preferred:

  • Master’s Degree, preferability in business administration, or instructional design; or equivalent experience
  • Experience using or supporting common Learning Development Platforms
  • Experience with video development tools (Vyond, Videoscribe, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity or experience with Agile methodologies

Responsibilities:

As a Solution Specialist in our WT practice, you will focus on optimizing our clients’ learning experience by increasing learner centricity, operational efficiency, program effectiveness, and learning alignment with business strategy. In this role you will:

  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients and assist them with determining Digital Learning Strategies and instructional design best practices
  • Perform curriculum analysis, design, and rationalization
  • Develop learning transformation strategies and roadmap development
  • Lead teams tasked with executing the design, development and delivery necessary to successfully implement and adopt new learning strategies
  • Build and maintain Learning Development Platforms
  • Develop training materials, including instructor-led, web-based, and virtual trainings, videos, job aids, instructor materials, and more
  • Monitor development timelines and oversee the completion of client-ready deliverables
