The Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) is made up of a team of experts who understand local communities and assess every property in Ontario. What we do provides the very foundation that municipalities use to base the property taxes needed to pay for the services we use every day.

Responsibilities:

You are a proficient individual who can design and develop learning initiatives, programs, and assets/materials to help employees acquire knowledge, build capabilities, and promote career advancement through programs that support high performance and professionalism of operational areas.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Use rapid development tools to create interactive and engaging learning materials
  • Record and edit audio, locate and manipulate stock photography and images, create visually appealing layouts and graphic user interfaces
  • Analyze and transform information into learning materials and determine optimal method for delivery
  • Consolidate and analyze feedback, present content variations to stakeholders with proposed solutions, seek agreement and address stakeholder concerns to obtain sign-off
  • Develop and maintain learning plans, storyboards, scripts, facilitator guides, participant guides, e-learning programs, and other documents
  • Write clear and concise content; ensure accuracy of information and manage the review process and craft test questions that align to the learning objectives and content
  • Assist in the evaluation of learning programs and make recommendations for new learning technologies and new graphic design techniques for Manager’s review
  • Assist in the creation of communication materials to inform a variety of audiences of the learning solution
