Description:
ABOUT THE JOB
The People & Development (P&D) Team delivers an integrated and holistic approach for engaging and enabling leaders and people to realise the mission of Oikocredit.
The P&D team works with Business Partners, who act as content matter experts on specific P&D topics (i.e. reward, managing performance, labor law related issues, organizational change), with experts in the field of Recruitment, Learning & Development and Change, and with Operations Specialists and Support Officers, responsible for workflows, administration, payroll and employee support.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Vocational degree with 4-6 years of experience or Bachelor degree with 2-3 years’ experience in an administrative or operational environment, ideally in a HR department.
- Excellent IT skills, confident in the use of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word and other MS 365 applications) and the ability to work with databases.
- Strong organizational skills, process oriented and able to prioritize work load.
- Good inter-personal skills.
- Experience with project management.
- Conscientious personality, eye for detail.
- Fluency in English.

Responsibilities:
As a Learning & Development Assistant, your role is to support learning initiatives by managing platforms, assisting with competency management tools, and providing administrative support for development activities, while also contributing to HR process improvements for continuous growth.
- Support ongoing learning and development programmes.
- Manage and maintain existing learning platforms such as Rosetta Stone, Moody’s, Easygenerator, and LinkedIn Learning.
- Assist with the implementation of a competency management system to support employee career development.
- Conduct testing and oversee the phased rollout of the competency management tool.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for various learning and development activities.
- Support in mapping out existing HR processes and procedures to identify continuous improvements.
