Responsibilities:

We have a rare opportunity to join a ‘Great Place to Work for Development’ and help shape the future of our Learning & Development on a long-term maternity cover. This role provides essential support to the business whilst ensuring delivery of our L&D strategy. Working with the wider Learning & Development team to ensure our wonderful people have access to ‘best in class’ professional and personal development at every stage of their career with Clermont Hotel Group.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll oversee all aspects of The Academy (our bespoke training venue) including course scheduling, coordinating facilitators and providing support to the L&D Advisor as required.
  • Support Line Managers to ensure that all new employees receive structured onboarding via The Academy within the required timeframes
  • Monitor progress of 30, 60 and 90-day review forms and ensure that all new hires are signed off within the relevant time frame
  • Work with internal stakeholders to observe employee performance, monitor quality assurance program scores and guest feedback to identify and address both employee and hotel development needs
  • Provide feedback and coaching as required based on identified development needs
  • Collaborate with Head of T&OD and subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content for both in person and online use
  • Create bespoke online content and curated learning collections
  • Delivery of workshops, both in person and virtual
  • Manage the Apprenticeship Academy including applications, reviews, tracking and progress updates
