ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning and Development Business Partner to lead our renowned training department, develop strategic initiatives and drive a culture of continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to our General Manager of People & Culture, this role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that enhance the skills and capabilities of our workforce, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. This is a fantastic Permanent opportunity, based at our Corporate Office in Bunbury, Western Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • STRATEGY DEVELOPMENTDevelop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with Piacentini & Son’s goals and objectivesCollaborate with Senior Management to identify training needs and priorities across the business
  • PROGRAM DESIGN AND DELIVERYDesign, develop, and deliver innovative learning programs and initiatives, including workshops, e-learning, and on-the-job trainingEnsure training programs are relevant, engaging, and effectively address the skill gaps of employees
  • EVALUATION AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENTMonitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using feedback and data to make continuous improvementsStay abreast of industry trends and best practices in learning and development to ensure the company remains competitive
  • LEADERSHIP AND COLLABORATIONLead and mentor a team of Learning and Development professionalsFoster a collaborative learning culture within the business, encouraging knowledge sharing and professional growth
  • COMPLIANCE AND REPORTINGEnsure all training programs comply with industry regulations and standardsMaintain accurate records and prepare reports on training activities and outcomes for Senior Management
  • PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENTImplement and manage performance management systems to support employee development and business growth
