About the role
Based at Calvary’s flagship hospital, Calvary North Adelaide, this position is an exciting position as the Learning and Development (L&D) Coordinator role that has touch points across the whole of the hospital. It is offered as a 0.6 FTE Level 2 RN Permanent position. The L&D Coordinator is responsible for educating the CNAH team to deliver safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. This role collaborates with the L&D Consultant, the CNAH Management team, specialist teams i.e. Infection Control, Risk Safety & Quality, and departmental subject matter experts to deliver learning opportunities for staff in using a variety of teaching strategies. This role also supports the non-clinical teams for their mandatory training and facilitating departmental specific education.

Responsibilities:

Delivery of Hospital Orientation, Mandatory training and competency assessments for core skills in keeping with Calvary and NSQHS standards
Planning and implementation of education programs to develop staff and build workforce capacity
Education resource creation and reporting
About you
AHPRA Registered Nurse or Midwife
Minimum 3 years postgraduate clinical experience
Post Graduate Qualification in an Acute Nursing discipline
Evidence of leadership skills, with a positive “Can Do” attitude
Ability to deliver creative, innovative & flexible education within a dynamic and changing environment
Demonstrated high levels of communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or university education qualification or working towards
