We take pride in maintaining a learning culture at Maven by providing a diverse range of tangible learning solutions completely bespoke to the business, which challenges our people and caters to their needs and aspirations in conjunction with the needs of Maven.
Maven is currently seeking an assistant to work alongside our Learning, Development & Inclusion (LD&I) Specialist on some exciting projects related to learning and development, and diversity, equity and inclusion. From the outset you will be involved in supporting Maven’s firmwide learning strategy to ensure that our people have opportunities to grow and meet their learning and development (L&D) needs. You will also contribute to developing and implementing meaningful actions to support Maven’s diversity targets and priorities.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an organised, creative individual who is passionate about helping others to reach their full potential in an inclusive environment. Attention to detail and organisational skills will be key to bringing ideas, initiatives and events to life to ensure a direct positive impact on employee engagement. Alongside this role, Maven will also fund and provide support you to achieve your L&D Practitioner Level 3 qualification and further development beyond this.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Coordinating and managing the logistics of both virtual and in-person training sessions/programmes
  • Producing and managing content in our learning management system
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop training sessions which are bespoke to Maven
  • Assist with evaluating learning needs across the business and proposing tangible learning solutions to support these
  • Evaluating the impact of learning solutions and activities through both quantitative and qualitative methods
  • Creating engaging communications to promote initiatives, events and learning sessions e.g. posters, emails
  • Proposing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives and events which align with Maven’s goals and roadmap
  • Building relationships with Mavenites across the business to engage champions for our events and initiatives
  • Partnering with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to roll out key initiatives, take minutes at committee meetings and follow up actions with committee members
  • Curating our monthly DEI newsletter
  • Maintaining a ‘how to’ manual covering all L&D and DEI processes
  • Working with the Maven branding team to curate our social media profiles and showcase the work we are doing in the business
