JOB DESCRIPTION & SUMMARY

A career in Learning and Development, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the success of our people by developing quality and relevant learning initiatives that constantly improve the PwC experience. You’ll help us identify and source the best instructors, develop learning and performance improvement solutions across traditional and virtual classroom environments, and consult with other areas of the Firm to ensure our curriculums and initiatives support the PwC strategy.
As part of our Learning and Development Design and Curriculum team, you’ll help lead the design process for all PwC traditional classroom and technology enabled learning solutions. You’ll be working with subject matter specialists, programme directors/managers and project teams to strategise effective ways to educate and train our people on industry related materials.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader in the following areas:

  • Utilizing instructional design (including design thinking) and project management (both agile and waterfall) for a range of learning solutions with an emphasis on live/virtual learning solutions and including blended solutions - e.g. pathways, curriculums, digital, etc.
  • Developing engaging content and innovative learning activities by gathering insights from Subject Matter Specialists (SMS) from the business or externally including building rapport, setting context, defining objectives, and generally facilitating the process to obtain SMS input in a structured and disciplined manner;
  • Demonstrating an understanding of regulatory environments including, NASBA CPE requirements, and compliance standards, and how they apply to virtual and digital delivery formats;
  • Establishing effective networks and managing project teams including on-shore, off-shore, contractors, and vendors across multiple functional groups;
  • Consulting on L&D products and services;
  • Advising on when and how to use live and/or virtual in order to meet specific business outcomes;
  • Leveraging technology to support on demand and live virtual instructor-led training;
  • Consulting with project teams on technology platform recommendations to achieve learning objectives and within program budget, time frame and other constraints;
  • Establishing networks and managing project teams to accomplish implementation, enrollment and/or reporting of agreed plan/program information;
  • Demonstrating project management skills, including creating project plans, driving milestones, managing to budget, communicating status and escalating risk throughout;
  • Driving course development and delivering project plans through to completion;
  • Possessing the ability to simultaneously guide and oversee the implementation of multiple programs;
  • Working with key business sponsors and across L&D and other Business Services functional teams to deliver a quality learning experience;
  • Managing multiple priorities and proactively troubleshooting and problem solving on a real-time basis, escalating as appropriate;
  • Leveraging presentation and communication skills to effectively work with clients, other stakeholders and other team members;
  • Delivering learning solutions with a focus on customer service and quality in order to enhance the learner experience;
  • Developing and coaching staff and team members;
  • Improving process and technologies to drive efficiencies and to provide a quality learner experience;
  • Applying adult learning theory and instructional design to lead and/or contribute to the development of learning solutions that meet client needs;
  • Possessing knowledge of Accessibility standards (503/508 Compliance);
  • Demonstrating extensive-level abilities and/or a proven record of success managing in a professional services environment utilizing an array of digital skills to drive higher value, lower cost, and a tech-enabled learning experience;
  • Using design thinking (including persona development, affinity mapping, journey mapping, and prototyping);
  • Using agile project management techniques (including sprint planning, backlog management and sprint review);
  • Maintaining knowledge of current and emerging learning technology trends and experience innovating with new learning technology tools;
  • Analyzing data and communicating data insights to drive decision making (leveraging market leading tools such as MS Power Tools ; and,
  • Leveraging the Google and MS suite of tools to drive efficiency, productivity, and collaboration.
  • Understand the importance of have a correct information management;
  • Knowledge of Information Security and Data Protection;
  • Correct Information Security Management.
