DESCRIPTION

The Learning and Development Manager will design, develop and manage learning, orientation, and onboarding programs that align, motivate, develop, and engage associates in support of business goals and initiatives, and strengthen our leadership talent pipeline.
Reporting to the Director, Talant Development this strategic, hands-on, and highly visible role partners closely with business leaders, HR and Talent partners to analyze business needs and develop programmatic solutions to build and mobilize capabilities and behaviors that drive greater levels of engagement and performance in our 3,500 + global associates.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning Design & Technology, Instructional Design or related field required.
  • Masters /MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience (HR, talent management, L&D, leadership development, program management) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience designing and managing leadership development programs within a global organization.
  • Experience and demonstrated success in program, process and project management, including ability to develop complex, multi-faceted programs from end-to-end with complex tasks, timelines, and resource management.
  • Experience working with and leveraging Learning Management Systems (LMS) and learning technology platforms to support and drive learning delivery and learner engagement. Demonstrated attention to detail required.
  • Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs.
  • Strong executive presence and excellent written and oral communication, consultation and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to balance tactical and strategic-thinking and execution.
  • Deep subject matter expertise and experience with innovative and best practice learning and leadership development models, programs, vendors and technology.
  • Ability to partner and build credibility and relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying, tracking and reporting on learning impact metrics.
  • Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to create compelling visual marketing and branded materials through a variety of design tools, applications and platforms.

Responsibilities:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as subject matter expert on matters related to Learning initiatives; designing solutions which build organizational capabilities and enable the workforce through knowledge, and skills-practice
  • Strategically partner with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders to analyze and understand changing organizational needs, developing solutions that meet the business need.
  • Lead Organizational Learning and Development Administration and Instructional Design team, prioritizing their efforts to support the needs of the business
  • Complete ownership of Company onboarding programs including facilitation, content, administration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and set employees up for success, productivity and generate engagement
  • Own and manage end-to-end program and project administration, facilitation, and measurement. Partner with the stakeholders to ensure the program visions are measurable and achieved.
  • Design, develop and deliver programs across the organization, including all aspects of the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of these programs.
  • Maintain and own all administration, reporting and analysis of the Learning Management System and programs
  • Enable multiple modes of development activities to deliver experiential learning opportunities, exercising skills and behavior that support TBC Values and expected leadership competencies.
  • Establish and execute a measurement and accountability process for both participants and direct leaders, including commitment, engagement, participation, knowledge/learning transfer, on-the-job application, and leadership impact.
  • Identify, track, and analyze key data and metrics to evaluate effectiveness of programs. Communicate insights, improvement plans, progress, and impact on business outcomes to senior business and HR leaders.
  • Manage and leverage external vendor partnerships to supplement inhouse programs

  • Conduct appropriate research and benchmarking and make recommendations for shifts in strategy, approach/methodology and tools, as necessary.
