What you’ll do at Elekta
At Elekta, we don’t just build technology—we build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As a Learning & Development Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day design, development, and delivery of learning solutions across the organization.
You will support the development of a skilled and engaged workforce by creating innovative and effective learning content, managing training sessions, and administering tools and systems that enable employees to grow in their careers.
Responsibilities

In addition to the above, the Learning & Development Specialist will also take on responsibilities such as:

  • Deliver training programs across multiple platforms, ensuring a high level of learner engagement and knowledge retention.
  • Support the administration of learning systems by managing content, tracking participation, and producing reports on learning effectiveness.
  • Assist in conducting training needs assessments, gathering input from employees, managers, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the learning portfolio.
  • Oversee global onboarding for new hires.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness by gathering feedback, analyzing data, and recommending improvements to the curriculum.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop specialized training in areas such as compliance, technical skills, or soft skills development.
  • Stay current on learning trends and technologies to ensure the organization uses modern learning techniques.

What you bring

To be successful in this position, we believe that you have:

  • University degree in Human Resources, Business administration, Economics or equivalent.
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in matrix organization working with learning and development.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design principles and learning methodologies.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), preferably Cornerstone.
  • Experience with e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Integrity to work with confidential information.
