KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER (KSAOS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar HR role;
- Experience on the design and delivery of training contents;
- Competent with the full range of L&D tools and HRIS, including Learning Management Systems (preferred);
- Official Certification as Train the Trainer (preferred);
- Fluency in Business English (written and spoken);
- Proficiency in MS Office.

Responsibilities:
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The Learning Development Specialist is responsible for creating a culture that fosters a continuous development mindset, empowerment towards learning, and for overseeing that new employees integrate themselves into the organisation. The L&D Specialist is responsible for implementing and executing projects related to Organizational Culture, Onboarding, Online Learning Platforms, Language Classes and Microsoft 365 Tools.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, coordinate and deliver the onboarding program and logistics of new employees, including to inform and guide the hiring manager on implementing integration best practices, liaising with internal stakeholders (ex: HR, IT and Security), scheduling onboarding activities, preparing materials, conducting orientation sessions, supporting SME with their presentations, and providing guidance and support to new hires to speed their time to proficiency throughout the process and in the first 90 days after hiring date.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges within the company’s culture, promoting values and behaviours that align with the company’s goals, and developing initiatives to improve employee alignment with the company’s values
- Prepare communications campaigns and materials to advance with a continuous development mindset and foster empowerment towards learning, including to encourage the 70:20:10 development model, sharing employee cases of success, leadership messages, SharePoint content, newsletters and speaking/interview notes.
- Coordinate and implement the learning initiatives related to Online Learning Platforms (ex: LinkedIn Learning), Microsoft 365 tools (ex: Excel) and Language Classes, including the establishment of a syllabus and learning path for each program, arrange the logistics, liaising with vendors, defining criteria to enrol and motivate participants, quarterly reports of attendance and improvements to send to HR and Managers;
- Monitor and control the quality and effectiveness of the learning programmes under the job scope, through quarterly reports and rigorous measurement, guaranteeing that improvement measures are implemented whenever necessary to ensure a proper application of time and resources in training related activities;
- Identify innovative and creative ways for learning programmes, onboarding of new employees and reach a more scalable and measurable learning and onboarding experience along with NJE Subject Matter Experts and other relevant stakeholders (HR; IT; Security)
