QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field
  • ~ 5 years of experience in learning and development, instructional design, or related roles.
  • Experience designing and delivering a variety of learning modalities, including e-learning, instructor-led training, and virtual instructor-led training.
  • Demonstrated ability to deploy innovative/state of the art learning solutions
  • Instructional design
  • Adult learning theories
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a focus on driving innovation in learning solutions.

Responsibilities:

POSITION PURPOSE

The Learning Innovation and Solutions Lead applies learning expertise and business knowledge to develop and deliver on innovative and effective learning content to drive business outcomes. This role will leverage knowledge of adult learning theories, instructional design, and learning technologies to modernize training across CSL.
This role will partner closely with the learning partner team understanding learning needs and helping to develop and deliver solutions to close capability gaps. This includes examining new and innovative technologies, solutions, and/or vendors that can better enable knowledge retention and employee engagement and adoption. The team will apply a continuous improvement mindset and look to transform how we design, develop, and deliver training solutions with the end user in mind. As a result, this role will continually look for and pilot new/innovative ways to deliver on content and modernize the entire training library
This role will also look for enterprise-wide opportunities to build capabilities across the CSL workforce (e.g. broad content for a disease area, therapeutic area, etc.).

  • Based on learning needs, design innovative learning solutions to address needs
  • Investigate and leverage modernized learning solutions and look to upgrade end user experiences in conjunction with the Learning Partners

Design, Develop, and Deploy Effective and Efficient Learning Solutions

  • Leverage instructional design methodologies to create high quality learning materials
  • Leverage latest technologies and/or innovations in the learning space to continually modernize learning solutions
  • Partner with Learning Partners to create scalable and innovative solutions that could be leveraged across the Enterprise.
  • Leverage vendor relationships and solutions that are of high quality and relevant

Continuous Improvement/Testing/Piloting of Innovative Learning Technologies

  • Understand the innovative solutions and potential application within CSL
  • Continually pilot new/innovative technologies and solutions and modernize training

Evaluate and Respond to Learning Program Effectiveness

  • Understand the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms and work with the team to continually improve on learning solutions.
