Description:

The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for: Learning Materials Secretary Catholic Education Centre Permanent Full Time 1.0 FTE (5200 Wellington Road South, London, ON N6E 3X8) The Learning Materials Secretary is responsible for the ongoing circulation and maintenance of learning resources to the LDCSB school communities using integrated library software.
Provide excellent customer service in the promotion of the resources and services of the Learning Materials Centre. Assist system staff to acquire resources, utilize the on-line catalogue and use the equipment in the production area. QUALIFICATIONS: Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Office Administration Minimum 3 years including on the job and previous experience Basic knowledge of library processes and procedures including inventory, circulation, collection maintenance and processing Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Strong attention to details with sensitivity for the confidential nature of the position Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint Perform a variety of tasks related to the booking, distribution and maintenance of learning materials to system schools Ability to perform the physical demands of the job including but not necessarily limited to stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching above shoulder level, standing for extended periods of time, lifting, pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 50lbs with assistance.
