As a Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of our national Learning Management System including managing system upgrades, providing user training and support; maintaining process integrity; trouble-shooting and delivering just-in-time solutions. This role also supports the development and delivery of staff programming.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience
This position requires a university degree, and 2 years’ work experience an LMS administrator role. Knowledge of Adobe Learning Manager or other similarly complex LMS preferred. Certifications or experience in project management and/or adult learning an asset.

  • Comprehensive experience administering an LMS (creating courses, assigning users, and back-end maintenance)

  • Learning design, development and delivery experience

We are currently working in a hybrid work arrangement, with a requirement to work partially in the office and an opportunity to work remote.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops deep expertise with OslerACADEMY, the firm’s LMS (Adobe Learning Manager)
  • Builds a community of LMS users, including training and supporting LMS administrators, content authors and instructors on effective system use
  • Updates monthly user list and ensures HCM integration functionality and other ongoing system maintenance
  • Troubleshoots issues escalated by other team members/users; as well as issues identified during upgrades. Acts as main point of contact and manages tickets with Adobe support team.
  • Acts as program lead to General Orientation and Staff Programming. This may include sourcing and/or developing occasional soft skills programs for staff.
