Learning Specialist, Bilingual (12-month contract)
Are you excited about creating and delivering innovative people development and training programs?
As a bilingual (English and French) learning specialist you will create amazing customer and employee experiences by designing and facilitating Best Buy’s learning and development programs. You’ll use the latest and greatest methodologies that support our employees and leaders with any structured training, knowledge management, performance support and talent management needs.
We practice a remote first working model and this position is open for candidates located in Canada. Our head office is located in beautiful Vancouver BC.
This role will require you to work some evenings and weekends.

What you’ll do:

  • Execute the planning and delivery of training programs and materials in both French and English. This may include webinars and virtual, hybrid or physical classroom delivery.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop training strategies for new business initiatives, products, services, or performance gaps.
  • Works with leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to assess training needs and scope, understanding execution gaps and changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives, and technologies that necessitate training.
  • Develop training content in collaboration with the Learning and Development team, including job aids, webinars, eLearning, and other necessary resources. Evaluate and enhance existing training programs to meet identified needs and requirements.
  • Ensure all tracking, reporting of training events and set up are completed.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3+ years of a combination of experience working as a learning specialist with related formal training
  • Proficient in MS Office, Teams
  • Experience in facilitating/presenting training programs in corporate/retail setting
  • Experience in learning content creation and tools such as Articulate.

Annualized base pay range
$72,400.00 - $76,200.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
