Consult and partner with lines of business (LOB) and functions to drive learning strategies that align with the business strategy and desired outcomes. Evolve the teammate learning experience. Foster a continuous learning culture empowering teammate growth.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of experience in human resources, talent management/development, or performance management disciplines.
2. 5 years’ experience in consulting, coaching, or other related field.
3. Knowledge of adult learning theory and its application to learning and development solutions.
4. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective, with or without authority.
5. Strategic planning, prioritization and governance
6. Ecosystem partnership strategy and development
7. Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to deal effectively with all types of personalities and collaborate within all parts of the organization
8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint
9. Demonstrated experience as a team player

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience
  2. Training solution architecture experience
  3. Background in Business, Organizational Development, and/or HR Management

Responsibilities:

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Develop and manage effective relationships by partnering with LOB/Function leadership and HR Business Partners, seeking to understand unique learning needs and creating strategies to achieve desired business outcomes.
2. Drive the development and evolution of innovative long-term LOB/Function learning strategy in partnership with business partners that leverages technological capabilities and modern design elements. Ensure LOB/Function learning strategy supports Truist’s policies, PMV, and inclusion and diversity practices.
3. Maintain a thorough understanding of Truist’s strategic objectives and current initiatives and priorities within the LOB. Ensure that training initiatives are properly aligned and support achievement of key objectives. Drive LOB project priorities for Learning partners.
4. Maintain knowledge of LOB industry trends and best practices of learning, talent development and financial services. Add value to the LOB/Function by applying learning expertise to a deep knowledge of the business.
5. Clearly and concisely communicate with LOB and Truist learning stakeholders on learning solution plans progress and risk.
6. Develop and manage effective relationships with Truist Learning and HR teammates, seeking to understand specific capabilities and strengths of these teams and enhance partnership to better serve LOB and content area partners. Maximize efficiency by leveraging successful existing solutions and strategies where appropriate.
