JOB PURPOSE:

If you are passionate about making a difference through supporting disabled students, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Student Disability and Inclusion team at the University of Southampton. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will provide support for disabled students including those with physical disabilities, mental health and wellbeing conditions, long-term health conditions, and neurodiverse students.

THE ROLE:

We are seeking to recruit Learning Support Assistants for all STEM subjects, notably biology, chemistry, physics, maths, engineering, medicine and computer science. The duties are set out in the Job Description below and will include notetaking, study assistance, lab/workshop/skills support and practical assistance in academic settings around the campus(es). Some work will also be provided through online teaching and learning facilities. The ability to take notes directly on a laptop would be an advantage.
