Description:

The Leasing Administrative Assistant performs administrative duties and co-ordinates activities related to the management and rental operations of the residential properties. Reporting to the Property Manager. Responsibilites will include being the point of contact for all prospective and existing residents. Answering phone calls, emails and responding in a timely manner. Providing assistance in resident relations and maintaining a level of exceptional customer service.

Leasing and Administrative Duties

  • Encourage appointments or viewings with all prospective resident callers.
  • Answer all phone calls and email inquiries providing leasing information as outlined in Realstar’s policies.
  • Prepare applications and leasing contracts.
  • Process resident applications and conduct credit, reference, and employment checks.
  • Ensure positive resident relations; write notices to residents.
  • Proof, scan and file documents.
  • Prompt response to resident issues and service requests (within 24 hours).
  • Recognition of residents’ unique requirements.
  • Compile research data on rental markets.

Skill Set Required

  • One year experience in office administration, sales, apartment rental or a related field.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional customer service expertise.
  • Good computer skills and sending emails.
  • Positive attitude towards training and learning.
  • Excellent oral communication skills.
  • Maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
  • Autonomous person requiring little supervision in the execution of daily tasks.
  • Bilingual in French and English (requirement).
