Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a motivated and engaged Leasing Consultant to join the team serving our Goose Hollow community. The Leasing Consultant plays an important role in the successful lease-up of our communities. This position will work closely with the Community Manager to achieve occupancy, resident retention, and leasing goals. This position is in-office, M-F, day hours. Parking or an alternative transportation stipend is available.

LEASING CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of leasing or sales experience in property management or real estate required
- 2 years of customer service experience preferred
- 2 years of experience working in an office environment preferred
- Prior knowledge of Oregon Fair Housing & Landlord Tenant Law a plus
- Strong computer skills/technical savvy/Microsoft 365
- Collaborative nature
- Bonus points for: a Bachelor’s degree and/or non-profit experience
- Access to reliable transportation

Responsibilities:
- Conducts tours, performs follow up communication, and diligently pursues closing leases with prospective residents
- Receives and processes rental applications and notifies prospective residents of screening results in a timely manner
- Responsible for coordinating new residents’ move-in
- Creates and maintains resident move-in and move-out procedures
- Collects, secures, and processes rental payments
- Greets prospective residents, qualifies prospective students for residency, and determines any residents needs
